Unit price perThis work features three figures being Mary Magdalene, the artist in the centre and apostle St Peter who would later form the catholic church. It was through researching the pivotal opposing roles that Mary Magdalene and apostle Peter had being. They saw a different vision of Christianity after Christ's death with Saint Peter forming the Catholic church and Mary Magdalene believed to have fled into France due to their opposing beliefs around the message of Christ. The artist put herself in the middle as a way of showing she was examining both sides of these two opposing figures. Mixed media, acrylic on board with etched reflective paper.
